Position Overview

CBTS is seeking a highly experienced Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions for enterprise customers. This strategic, client-facing role serves as a trusted advisor throughout the sales and solution lifecycle, translating business objectives into innovative technical architectures that drive measurable business outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across cloud, infrastructure, networking, security, data protection, and modern enterprise technologies, combined with strong pre-sales and solution-selling experience.

What You'll Do

Solution Architecture & Design

• Design end-to-end enterprise technology solutions that are scalable, resilient, cost-effective, and aligned with business goals.
• Create architecture blueprints, technical roadmaps, and solution strategies for complex customer engagements.
• Lead solution reviews and ensure technical deliverables adhere to best practices and standards.

Pre-Sales & Client Engagement

• Partner with sales teams to develop winning solution strategies and proposals.
• Lead discovery workshops, technical presentations, and executive-level customer discussions.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and value-driven outcomes.
• Support bid management efforts and contribute to revenue growth initiatives.

Technology Leadership

• Provide thought leadership in cloud transformation, modernization, AI, automation, DevOps, APIs, and microservices architectures.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that create competitive advantage.
• Mentor solution architects, engineers, and technical teams.

Governance & Risk Management

• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct architecture assessments and identify technical risks and mitigation strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive architecture documentation and standards.

Customer Success

• Drive exceptional customer experiences throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Resolve technical roadblocks and support successful technology adoption.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver business value.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 15+ years of overall technology industry experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Pre-Sales Engineering, Technical Sales, or Consulting.
• Proven success designing and presenting enterprise technology solutions to executive stakeholders.
• Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation and modernization initiatives.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Location Requirement: Candidates must currently reside within approximately 1-1.5 hours commuting distance of the local CBTS office/market they support. While this position offers remote flexibility, candidates are expected to be local to the assigned market and available for onsite client meetings and office visits as business needs require.

$120,000-160,000/per annum, i.e. the range is salary not including commission.

The compensation range in this posting reflects the Company's good-faith estimate at the time of publication. The applicable base pay range for any individual will be determined based on the candidate's designated primary work location as well as factors including role scope and responsibilities, required qualifications, and the individual's experience, education, skills, knowledge, and performance. Certain positions may also be eligible for additional compensation such as discretionary merit increases, bonuses, or sales-based variable compensation in accordance with applicable plans and role requirements.
