Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialty infusion pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations in Orange County. This contract opportunity offers an ASAP start with a 13-week duration and the potential to transition to a permanent role. The position requires working Monday through Friday during day shifts.

- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter patient demographics and insurance information accurately.
- Type prescription labels, process medication refills, and submit billing claims and authorization requests.
- Label and package injectable medications, ancillary supplies, and oral/topical medications per patient orders.
- Prepare shipping documentation, coordinate shipments, and confirm deliveries with patients.
- Reconcile shipments against packing slips and receive/unpack medications.
- Perform routine cleaning and disinfection of the IV room following USP <797> standards and company policies.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through verbal, written, and in-person communication.
- Support 340B program compliance and assist with other pharmacy operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid California Pharmacy Technician license.
- At least 1 year of experience in hospital, ambulatory care, or infusion pharmacy settings.
- Familiarity with IV preparation and handling.
- Local candidates preferred for ease of onboarding and scheduling.
