Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Cath LabWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This position offers an excellent opportunity for RNs who are passionate about cardiac care and have the skills to manage complex procedures.Job DetailsUnit Type: Cardiac Cath LabShift Length: 8 hoursGuaranteed Hours: 40 hours per weekYears of Experience Required: 2 yearsCertifications Required: ACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSSShift InformationSchedule: Monday to Friday, 0630 - 1500On-call requirement: Approximately 10-11 days per month, including one weekendKey ResponsibilitiesCirculate and monitor cardiac proceduresParticipate in electrophysiology cases, including ICD implantations, pacemakers, and ablationsProvide care for cardiac, peripheral, neuro, and traumatic embolization patientsAssist in patient assessments and coordinate care within the Cath Lab settingWork collaboratively with scrub techs and ensure all staff are cross-trained for case monitoringComplete three days of orientation, leading to independent case managementOrientation and TrainingNew hires will undergo three days of orientation, during which they will be introduced to unit protocols and procedures. Expected to manage cases independently by the end of their orientation week.Work EnvironmentThe Cardiac Cath Lab features four labs, with three typically in use. The lab is equipped with a GE MacLab/Combo Lab Hemodynamic Monitoring System. The environment is fast-paced, and team members are expected to collaborate effectively to ensure high-quality patient care.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will be a proficient RN with a strong background in cardiac care, capable of circulating cases and monitoring patients effectively.
