The Validation Engineer implements and improves testing, development and validation techniques, processes, tooling and machinery to maximize product quality.Additional Information:This role is based in Houston, TexasTravel up to 40% within the continental United States to support field activities and business objectivesThis position is open to relocationSponsorship is not available for this positionThis position requires working onsite five days a weekWhat You Will Do:Resolving issues regarding the design or manufacturing. Ensuring design acceptance and manufacturing readiness.Provide technical support to end customers or dealers on pre-production equipmentParticipating in the adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement.Planning and improving testing procedures and operations to make the test more reliable, efficient and cost-effective.Monitoring results, machine and process capabilities and performance reliability. Top Candidates Will Have:Experience in the manufacturing and/or oil & gas field (well services)Demonstrated experience with mechanical drivetrain systems, including components such as engines, transmissions, gearboxes, and related powertrain equipment.Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.Proven capability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.Willingness and flexibility to support a variety of R&D programs as organizational needs evolve.Required Qualifications:Requires a degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering or Computer ScienceWhat You Will Have:Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes.Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.Effective Communications: Understanding effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.Summary Pay Range:$97,530.00 - $146,290.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
