Production Operator

Production Technician Prescott, Ontario HFI Pyrotechnics Inc. Full Time (Days) Monday to Friday 8 hour shift varies between 5am - 5pm HFI Pyrotechnics Inc. is a Canadian owned company near Prescott Ont. We manufacture a range of military and consumer non-lethal pyrotechnic devices. We are the newest member of Canada’s Munitions Supply Program, and we have a growing range of products and services and customers from around the world. HFI Pyrotechnics is growing and maintains a culture of continuous improvement throughout its organization. HFI Pyrotechnics is on the ascent, and we are looking for energetic individuals with a positive can-do attitude to help us produce our world-class products. HFI Pyrotechnics is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our team. As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for assembling non-lethal pyrotechnic devices and ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Direct hands-on assembly Assemble products according to specifications Inspect products for quality and adherence to specifications Perform routine cleaning of equipment and work area Responsible for upkeep of appearance standards Follow all safety protocols and procedures Report any issues or malfunctions to the Team Lead Collaborate with team members to meet production targets Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and proficiencies in reading and writing English Must be 18 years of age by start date Potential candidates must be able to complete a criminal background check Potential candidates must be prepared to be clean shaven, and be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment, such as an N95 mask, PAPR, Fire retardant coveralls, Lab coats, FR Balaclavas. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred Preferred experience working with chemicals Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk on uneven walkways and lift up to 50 lbs.
