HEALTH INFORMATION SUPERVISOR

NRVCS is looking for our next Health Information Supervisor, to join our growing and dynamic team! The Health Information Supervisor, directly manages the health information operations at all agency locations where records are managed. Ensures that active, overflow and closed medical record files are handled in a systematic, secure and timely manner. Responsible for knowing and ensuring that agency, state and federal regulations pertinent to consent, confidentiality and security of protected health information are followed. Starting Salary: $43,927-Depending on Experience


Education/Experience Required:

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's Degree in health information management or other related field is required.
• Bachelor's Degree and management experience is preferred.
• Experience related to handling confidential records and data entry is preferred.
• Experience in general computer use, agency-adopted applications, e-mail, electronic record handling, and any other technology available for Health Information Management purposes is required.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
