Act as key account manager for our strategic airline partners and GSAs, responsible for overall relationship, commercial and operational development.Identify, analyze, and develop potential cargo partnerships with carriers that bring the most network benefit to American Airlines Cargo, this includes preparing business cases, memos (Excel & PowerPoint) Support Manager Cargo Strategic Partnerships to create tactical plans to meet commercial objectives as set by management and provide feedback on the performance of these commercial objectives regularly in a structured way. Contribute to initiatives and projects as a Subject Matter Expert on GSAs and airline partnerships, such as Cargo’s IT systems product development, and other cross-departmental initiativesAll you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent training or experience1+ year of job-related experience within the airline / air cargo industry or relevant experience Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceStrong knowledge and experience in airline partnerships and alliances with a track record of contract negotiation and implementation, previous experience with partnerships, merger, acquisition Well versed in industry issues; trends with expertise in matters relating to cargo. In depth knowledge of International Air Cargo; IATA Resolutions and Procedures.
