Hourly Pay Range and Other Compensation:

• The hourly rate for this position is $37.00 to $37.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employment Type : Full-Time | Temporary

FLSA Status : Non-Exempt
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 1st Shift 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Job Summary:

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring a Process Sustaining Engineer to support a leading medical diagnostics manufacturer in Carlsbad. This role will provide engineering support for manufacturing processes and equipment, troubleshoot production issues, and drive improvements within a GMP-regulated environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot manufacturing process and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
• Support equipment maintenance, qualification, validation, and process improvements.
• Analyze process performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, quality, and efficiency.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, engineering documentation, and GMP records.
• Support continuous improvement and manufacturing sustaining initiatives.

Requirements:

• Previous GMP-regulated manufacturing experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
• Experience supporting manufacturing processes and production equipment in a regulated environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with equipment qualification/validation, process improvement, and manufacturing documentation.
• Medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or diagnostics manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Carlsbad, CA on 1st shift.
