Work Environment

The position is based onsite in our bustling outpatient office in Brentwood, a vibrant community that offers a blend of suburban charm and access to various natural amenities. The clinic operates with a Monday to Friday schedule, allowing a healthy work-life balance with hours from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Vital Core, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient evaluations through detailed assessments to identify movement dysfunctions and functional limitations.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based methodologies and therapeutic techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and various modalities.
• Implementing and tracking the effectiveness of treatment interventions, adjusting plans as necessary based on patient progress and outcomes.
• Educating patients on crucial topics such as injury prevention, ergonomics, posture correction, and self-management strategies to support long-term success.
• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborating with referring physicians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide seamless and integrated patient care.
• Participating in regular team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development initiatives to enhance your clinical skills.
• Mentoring and providing guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), aides, or student interns when applicable.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily services patients dealing with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will work closely with patients of all ages, helping them regain their strength, mobility, and confidence through targeted rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT preferred).
• At least two years of clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Strong manual therapy skills and experience with sports-related injuries and post-operative rehabilitation.
• Experience in chronic pain management and advanced therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

Vital Core Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
