Nurse Practitioner (NP)

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care within a correctional facility in California City, CA. This opportunity offers a consistent Monday–Friday day shift schedule and can be structured as full-time or part-time, making it ideal for providers seeking flexibility while working in a collaborative environment paying $60-$75/hour based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assessments, exams, and diagnose/treat medical conditions
• Prescribe medications and order/interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop and manage patient care plans
• Monitor patient health status and respond to medical needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulations

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
• Graduate of an accredited NP program (Family Practice preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
• Experience in corrections, primary care, or urgent care
• Familiarity with NCCHC, ACA, or JCAHO standards
