Fleet Diesel Mechanic – Join the Truck 63 Team

Truck 63 is seeking a skilled and motivated Fleet Diesel Mechanic to help maintain and repair our heavy-duty fleet vehicles. In this role, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring our fleet operates at peak reliability and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
• Ensure all work meets safety and operational standards
• Support overall fleet reliability and uptime

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a fleet diesel mechanic preferred
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Working knowledge of vehicle electronics
• Ability to multitask (repairs, maintenance, shop organization, etc.)
• Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to follow direction
• High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training or apprenticeship a plus)
• Valid NYS Driver’s License required
• CDL is a plus
• NY State Inspection License and other certifications are a plus

Compensation/Hours

Shifts available Monday through Friday 4:00AM-12:30PM & 9:30AM-6:00PM. Overtime available as needed
