Java Developer Lead

Job Title: Java Developer Lead
Location : New York, NY
Work Model: 4 Days Onsite (During the transition period, 5 days onsite)
We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Architect with 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Microservices, and Payments Domain . The ideal candidate will lead architecture, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale payment applications.
Experience Required- 10+ years of experience in Java Full Stack development and architecture.
- Strong expertise in Java , Spring Boot , Microservices , Angular , and TypeScript .
- Hands-on experience designing and developing REST APIs and event-driven architectures .
- Strong experience in the Payments Domain , including ACH, Wire, SWIFT, RTP, ISO 20022, Card Payments, and Merchant Payments .
- Experience with Kafka , Oracle/PostgreSQL , Docker , Kubernetes , Git , and Jenkins .
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP .
- Strong understanding of payment security, compliance, scalability, and high availability.
- Experience leading Agile teams and collaborating with business stakeholders.

- Lead the architecture, design, development, and deployment of enterprise payment applications.
- Design secure REST APIs and event-driven microservices.
- Drive payment modernization initiatives and cloud-native application development.
- Lead code reviews, mentor development teams, and enforce engineering best practices.
- Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and high availability.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and DevOps practices.
- Collaborate with business, product, architecture, and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
