Leasing Consultant

We are seeking an engaging, energetic Leasing Consultant that will be responsible for general leasing and supporting the Property Manager in all aspects of operations. Responsibilities Show and lease available apartments. Post and monitor ads daily Answer the telephone and practice professional leasing techniques. Have a good understanding of the market area where the community is located and stay up to date on market conditions. Keep accurate records of resident and property activities. Process applicants' paperwork including applications, proof of income, credit, and background checks, following company policies and procedures Conduct move-in for new residents Collect and record rents and deposits. Comply with Fair Housing Laws. Perform any and all functions as requested by the Community Manager in addition to those outlined. Minimum Requirements Possess a valid driver’s license and an insured, operable vehicle. 2+ years experience in property management with a strong preference for experience at larger properties Yardi or industry-related software is a strong plus Marketing savvy and proficient in MS Word, Excel Salary Disclaimer In accordance with the California Pay Transparency Act, we are committed to providing transparency regarding compensation for the position listed.
