Temporary Office Assistant

Performs computer data entry of voter registration and absentee ballots, equipment testing, ballot maintenance, and filing. Start Date: October 5, 2026 End Date: Dictated by workload following Election Day Typical hours are 9:00 - AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with possible work on Saturdays Enter data for processing Voter Registration Enter data for processing Absentee Ballot Requests Preparing Ballot Packets for mailing Scanning of Documents Processing In-Person Absentee Voters Other duties as assigned High School Graduate or equivalent. General computer skills, organizational office skills, and attention to detail. Previous election experience is preferred, but not necessary. E-VERIFY PROCESS: Story County participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with information from each applicant's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
