Overview:


Our client is seeking a dependable Help Desk Technician to provide first-level technical support in a fast-paced IT environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their IT career while gaining hands-on experience with desktop support, hardware deployments, account administration, and end-user troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is reliable, customer-focused, and eager to learn new technologies while supporting a collaborative IT team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and end-user issues
• Respond to help desk tickets, phone calls, emails, and walk-up support requests
• Configure, image, deploy, and replace desktop and laptop computers
• Perform password resets and user account administration using Active Directory or similar tools
• Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and common desktop issues
• Document incidents, resolutions, and updates within the ticketing system
• Escalate advanced technical issues to senior support staff when appropriate
• Assist with large-scale hardware deployments and workstation refresh initiatives
• Deliver outstanding customer service while supporting users throughout the organization
• Maintain an organized workspace while supporting multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred Experience:
• Previous Help Desk, Desktop Support, IT Support, or Call Center experience preferred
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 environments
• Familiarity with Active Directory account administration and password management
• Basic knowledge of desktop hardware, peripherals, and troubleshooting techniques
• CompTIA A+ certification is a plus but not required
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues while maintaining a positive customer experience
• Desire to grow within Information Technology and expand technical knowledge
