How good of a first impression do you make on the phone?

We are a multi office insurance agency looking for an enthusiastic team member to help us with our clients. We are seeking a team member who can make a great first impression on the phone and create a welcoming interaction for the callers to our offices. We receive hundreds of phone calls per day and are looking for a team member with great people skills and multi-tasking talents that can problem solve and direct calls with a smile.

Our Receptionist Team Member helps us with multiple duties including, greeting visitors, answering calls, assisting with mail processing and routing faxes and applicable email messages.

This position is located at our Rhinebeck, NY location and is a full time position with Health, Vision, 401K, and Profit Sharing benefits available.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrates effective telephone etiquette. Friendly, well organized and enjoys dealing with people. Ability to operate a high volume, multi-line phone system concurrently with multi-function communication software systems.

Experience and Education

High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to use personal computer, calculator and various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel.
