AWS Architect

We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect with strong expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, cost optimization, and architecture reviews. The ideal candidate will lead assessments across AWS environments, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend scalable, high-performance cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct architecture reviews across AWS services including MSK, ECS, CloudWatch, Glue, S3, EC2, Lambda, Connect, Config, CloudTrail, ELB, SQS, and MQ.
• Identify optimization opportunities such as right-sizing, Graviton migration, Spot Instances, Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, and S3 lifecycle management.
• Evaluate non-production environments for shutdown automation and shared-services consolidation.
• Perform AWS Well-Architected reviews focusing on cost optimization and performance efficiency.
• Create monthly reports with savings recommendations and implementation roadmaps.
• Support Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS compute, storage, networking, observability, and security services.
• Expertise in AWS pricing models, Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, CUR, and Compute Optimizer.
• Experience with ECS, Fargate, EKS, Lambda, MSK, Kinesis, and Glue.
• Knowledge of Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of cloud cost governance and optimization strategies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT/cloud engineering experience with 6+ years focused on AWS.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (Required).
• AWS Specialty Certifications (Security/Data/Networking) preferred.
