Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or ARRT-NM)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced knowledge of imaging principles and radiation safety protocols
• Proficient in the operation and maintenance of nuclear medicine equipment, including gamma cameras and PET/CT scanners
• Experience preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals
• Ability to perform quality assurance checks and document imaging results accurately
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to efficient patient care
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical nuclear medicine department strongly preferred

Typical Responsibilities:

• Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures
• Operate nuclear medicine equipment to acquire high-quality images as ordered by physicians
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to established protocols, including radiation protection measures
• Explain procedures to patients and monitor their comfort and well-being throughout scans
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Review and maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Perform routine equipment checks and troubleshoot minor technical issues

$2,541 - $2,688/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
