Role Description

We’re seeking a full-time  Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team on-site in  Las Vegas, NV . In this role, you’ll design, develop, and test mechanical systems for cutting-edge electro-optical products. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including Electrical, Optical, Firmware, and Manufacturing—to bring innovative concepts from design through to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for EO products.
• Perform structural, thermal, and dynamic analysis using FEA/CFD tools.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Support system integration and testing of mechanical and electro-optical assemblies.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design for manufacturability.
• Contribute to prototype builds, reviews, and iterative development cycles.

Qualifications

• Master's/PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience , or Master’s with 3+ years . 
• Proficient in  SolidWorks (3D modeling) and  AutoCAD or equivalent 2D drafting tools.
• Strong experience with  FEA, CFD , and simulation tools for mechanical analysis.
• Solid understanding of materials, tolerancing, and mechanical design principles.
• Experience designing for  machining, additive manufacturing , or other production methods.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to also work independently.
• Experience with  electro-optical systems or  military/aerospace R&D projects is a strong plus.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of our government contracts.
