About the Position

Ken Jones - State Farm Agency is seeking a motivated Licensed Insurance Sales Representative to join our team in Ridgeland, MS.

This position combines insurance sales, lead follow-up, customer relationship management, and policy service. The ideal candidate enjoys helping people, identifying insurance needs, recommending appropriate coverage, and building lasting customer relationships.

What You'll Do
Follow up with prospective customers and existing leads
Develop leads and schedule insurance appointments
Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products
Provide insurance quotes and explain coverage options
Market and cross-sell State Farm insurance products
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Follow up with customers regarding quotes, policies, and service needs
Assist customers with questions about coverage, eligibility, billing, policy changes, transfers, and claims-related concerns
Maintain accurate customer and policy information
Meet individual and team sales goals
Deliver professional, responsive, and friendly customer service

Compensation and Benefits

What We're Looking For
Active Property & Casualty insurance license required

Life & Health insurance license preferred
Previous insurance sales or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
Ability to identify customer needs and explain insurance options clearly
Comfortable working toward sales goals
Self-motivated, organized, and dependable
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional office environment
Positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service
Experience in insurance sales, State Farm, financial services, retail sales, inside sales, outside sales, or other customer-facing sales roles is a plus.
