Accounts Receivable Specialist – Conshohocken, PA
An industrial services company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its finance team. This role is responsible for managing daily cash applications, customer billing, collections, and maintaining accurate receivable records across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply and reconcile customer payments (ACH, checks, credit cards, etc.) accurately and timely.
- Create and distribute invoices; maintain customer account data.
- Monitor aging reports, follow up on past-due accounts, and coordinate collections.
- Resolve payment discrepancies and collaborate with internal teams to support order release and account resolution.
- Assist with revenue reconciliations and month-end close.
- Support billing, reporting, and ad hoc AR functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience required.
- Strong Excel and ERP/accounting system skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing priorities in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Education:
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
