Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced GCP IAM Engineer to implement and operate secure, scalable identity and access controls for application onboarding within a regulated enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with GCP IAM, Terraform, Python and Golang , along with familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud security.

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced GCP IAM Engineer to implement and operate secure, scalable identity and access controls for application onboarding within a regulated enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with GCP IAM, Terraform, Python and Golang , along with familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud security.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision and manage GCP IAM roles, bindings and service accounts across multiple projects using Terraform and Git-based workflows.
- Implement least-privilege access for applications, runtime identities, human users and break-glass scenarios.
- Support identity integrations, group mappings and role assignments according to enterprise security standards.
- Automate IAM provisioning, validation and operational tasks using Python and/or Golang .
- Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules , state management and infrastructure-as-code workflows.
- Support AWS-to-GCP IAM policy migration and help translate existing access models into GCP.
- Work with Kubernetes environments and cloud-native application platforms.
- Troubleshoot IAM and access issues in collaboration with platform, network, security and application teams.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks and audit-ready onboarding evidence.
- Participate in Git/PR workflows, change management and controlled release processes.
- GCP IAM - roles, policies, service accounts and policy inheritance.
- Terraform - modules, state management and infrastructure automation.
- Python programming and scripting.
- Golang development experience.
- Kubernetes knowledge.
- Experience with AWS-to-GCP policy migration .
- Git-based development and CI/CD workflows .
- Strong understanding of cloud security and least-privilege access.
- Ability to troubleshoot IAM and application access issues.
- Experience working in regulated enterprise environments .
- Experience with GCP organization/project-level IAM administration.
- Knowledge of identity federation, groups and role mappings.
- Experience with GCP audit logging and security controls.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Experience collaborating with security, networking, platform and application engineering teams.
