Job Title

Registered Nurse – Oncology (Medical/Surgical)

Location

Boston, MA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 36 hours per week | Day/Night Rotating Shift | Every other weekend required | Holiday coverage required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an oncology unit serving a hematologic malignancy population
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for oncology patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient treatment plans
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with unit and facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Medical/Surgical nursing experience accepted in lieu of oncology experience
• Ability to work a rotating day/night schedule including every other weekend and holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior oncology nursing experience, particularly with the hematologic malignancy population
• Familiarity with oncology-specific treatments, protocols, and patient care considerations
