Key Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Current Physical Therapist licensure through the Florida Department of Health.
• Experience supporting pediatric or school-based caseloads, with flexibility to serve students PK-12.
• Ability to travel between school sites as needed for an itinerant assignment.
• Previous fingerprint clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse is a plus, but not required; candidates must complete fingerprinting and obtain/transfer a JLA badge before starting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic interventions and individualized physical therapy services to students, based on IEP goals and clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary education teams to develop and implement strategies that promote student mobility and participation.
• Conduct evaluations, maintain documentation, and monitor student progress in compliance with school and district policies.
• Provide consultation and training to teachers and staff to ensure best practices for student achievement and safety.
