Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Cardiac Cath experience. - All Pennsylvania clearances. Description: Backfill requirements: Travelers can start with some items pending. Non-negotiable items include having all Pennsylvania clearances, a recent drug screen within 90 days, and no declinations for MMR or TB. Travelers must be able and willing to work all shifts, including days, nights, and mids. The facility is known for clinical excellence and nationally recognized patient outcomes. It offers specialized services including a regional Level 1 Trauma Center and various specialty services. All candidates must have complete and clear screenings prior to starting. Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays. Candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel positions. All fingerprints must be submitted/uploaded before candidates can be cleared. Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance must be obtained through an electronic application process. Fingerprinting for Department of Human Services must be scheduled online, with confirmation needed to take to the fingerprinting site. FBI Department of Aging fingerprinting will accept prints completed within the last two years. PA State Police Clearance must be registered online and is required for employment; volunteer clearances are not accepted. The unit is a Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit with specific bed and patient ratio guidelines. Expected patient population includes cardiac patients, particularly geriatric. Candidates should possess a positive attitude. Dress code allows any scrub color, with restrictions on hoodies and piercing types. The position was created due to a new or expanded service line.
