Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Medical Telemetry unit with a day-shift RN ratio of 1:5/6
• Monitor patients using medical remote telemetry equipment and document care using Cerner EMR
• Prepare patients for procedures including Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and OR as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, CNAs, and HUCs to deliver safe, high-quality care
• Float to designated sister Med-Surg units as required per scheduling needs
• Fulfill weekend shift commitment of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Telemetry nursing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with medical remote telemetry monitoring
• Ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient environment and adhere to unit dress code (navy blue and/or white scrubs)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Charge Nurse or leadership experience
• Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) certification
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR systems
