Registered Nurse PACU PRN

Summary Seeking PACU RN! Recovery Room PRN, work as needed based on department need in the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area at Baptist Health Floyd. Role The PACU Nurse provides responsibility and accountability for a direct, comprehensive continuum of care for surgical patients. This highly trained nurse is assigned many vital responsibilities with the goal of avoiding post‑surgical or post‑anesthesia complications. Position Highlights Opportunity to work for a Pathway to Excellence® designated organization. Work in a regional, non-profit hospital. Work with a wide array of patients. Promotes continued education. Provides comprehensive evidence‑based nursing care. PRN: as needed, required to work 1 weekend day per month; weekend and holiday call. Qualifications Diploma RN; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Current Indiana or compact state RN license. BLS for Healthcare Providers required. ACLS certification (obtained within 12 months of hire). PALS certification (obtained within 12 months of hire).
