Job Title: RN - OR Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Shift Hours per Shift: 12-13 hours Experience: Preferred in acute care facility License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Description: Located in a picturesque area known for its ideal climate and diverse culture. Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment. Collects relevant data related to the patient's health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain desired outcomes. Implements the care plan and coordinates care delivery. Employs strategies to promote health and ensure a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for patients and their situations. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing care. Provides learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members. Directly provides health information to patients and families. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other related duties as assigned. Commits to the safety and wellbeing of all associates and patients. Requires all associates to receive necessary vaccinations as a condition of employment.
