Senior Manufacturing Engineer (One out of Two)

Senior Manufacturing Engineer position at Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Añasco, Puerto Rico, responsible for leading engineering projects that enhance operational performance and manufacturing efficiency. The role involves process optimization, equipment troubleshooting, compliance oversight, and mentoring junior team members across supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute moderate to high complexity projects ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and business outcomes
- Drive process optimization for output, throughput, equipment utilization, and waste reduction improvements
- Provide technical support for process evaluations, equipment failures, and troubleshooting
- Support GMP audits and maintain engineering procedures and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior team members and provide training on process and validation requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Minimum 4 years manufacturing, maintenance, R&D, or process development experience
- Proven validation cycle experience (FAT, IQ, OQ, PQ)
- Full bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and analytical expertise
