Registered Nurse - Orthopedics

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct and in-direct patient care by adhering to the nursing process in a collaborative environment, promoting optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based practice, care coordination, and patient and family engagement. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES Provides safe and effective nursing care based on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs across the care continuum. Administers medications, perform treatments, and document care activities in accordance with Health Firsts policies and procedures. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care, participate in rounds, and support discharge planning. Applies critical thinking to promptly identify changes in patient condition and initiate the appropriate interventions.
