Responsibilities Plan, evaluate, and deliver health care of patients on assigned service, emphasizing preventive health measures and patient education. Take patient histories, perform examinations, and order/of provide diagnostic procedures. Prescribe treatments and medications following established medical protocols and in consultation with supervising physician. Order and interpret laboratory work, including drawing blood and performing basic lab tests such as throat culture and wet prep microscopic exams. Maintain and review medical records, including follow‑up of abnormal lab results and communicable diseases. Attend case conferences, provider meetings, and quality improvement programs. Participate in continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge. Follow OSHA standards of infection control under CDC guidelines and the guidance of the Infection Control Officer. Meet productivity, quality, and patient satisfaction standards set by Sun River Health. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. NCCPA certification.
