Job Description:Job Summary:The purpose of the Supervisor of Airport Services is to help enable our Airport Services Concierge to provide an unparalleled customer experience for our JSX passengers through efficient, uniformed and consistent service.Responsibilities/Day in the Life Tasks:Create and Maintain an environment where the Airport Services Concierge team can thriveMaintain a working knowledge of systems, products and policies in order to assist/guide/ensure the Concierge team is set up for success.Ensure accurate time card reporting of the Airport Services teamSchedule Ninja – Able to oversee the schedules for the Airport Services team to ensure lean, mean money making machine coverageActs as Team Captain – is the voice of the ASC team when needing resolution or help from the Director; but also directly corrects any missteps, inaccuracies, mistakes made by a conciergeEnsure the concierge team is always working as efficiently as possible and is provided the tools to do so. This will translate to a prepared and organized experience that ensures the JSX customers leave our airport feeling like everything was effortlessProvide necessary tools and support to ensure the concierge team is working as efficiently as possible to create a flawless experience for all JSX customers.Create avenues for the concierge team to create joyful customer experiencesPassionate about creating growth and development for the airport conciergesOngoing development of the Concierge team to foster growth.Assist with the expansion of the ASC team by hiring world class crewmembers – continually refining the hiring process to ensure we only hire the best of the bestKnow it all and All Knowing – Able to be the go to for questions, concerns, assistance from other departmentsWork with the Station's Controller to ensure quick effective communication for all IROP'sIn order to maintain a consistent and seamless experience for our customers the supervisor must maintain an open and constant dialogue with FBO partnersMarshall/direct aircraft to/from gate(s) or other designated areasLoad/unload and transport baggage, mail, and other designated cargoAssist in cleaning customer lounges and aircraft cabin between flightsStock aircraft with needed supplies and prepare stock for inbound/outbound aircraftSafe operation of equipment required to move luggage/cargo, tow planes between gates and direct aircraft to designated parking areasCulture:This Is How We FlyOur Core Purpose is to deliver a joyful, simple travel experience for every Customer, in every interaction, every day. Whoever they may be – a traveler, a colleague, or a business partner.Required:Experience-High School Degree2 Years Airport Operations Experience4 Years of interacting with Customers/People delivering services face to faceLicenses & Certifications-Must possess a valid Driver’s License for operating ground support equipmentKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities-Ability to maintain a cool calm collected manner with facing a stressful situationMust be able to make decisions that reflect the safety and integrity of the organization based on our valuesAlways able to meet a negative with a positiveAbility to prioritize tasks and execute them accordingly with a high degree of focusImpeccable verbal and written communication skillsWorking knowledge MS Office, Google Business SolutionsPreferred:Experience-College Degree4 years of Airport Operations ExperienceLicenses & Certifications-Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities-Basic Requirements:Must be able to travel oftenAbility to lift up to 75 poundsIntermittent physical activity including bending, reaching, lifting and prolonged periods of standingAbility to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidaysParticipate in initial and random drug and alcohol screenings in accordance with DOT and FAA guidelinesIn compliance with federal aviation security requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens or U.S. nationals.We do whatever it takes:May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
