Senior Manager, Global Transportation & FSL Strategy and Enablement

Overview About the Role Asurion is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Transportation & FSL Strategy and Enablement to lead the design, optimization, and scaling of our global transportation and forward stocking location (FSL) network. This role is responsible for driving cost efficiency, improving service performance, and building scalable solutions across domestic and international shipping operations as well as the FSL network. This leader will partner across operations, finance, product, and external carrier and 3PL partners to shape transportation and FSL strategy and influence key business decisions. This is a high-impact role with visibility across the organization and direct influence on customer experience, cost performance, and network scalability. What You’ll Do Define and evolve transportation and FSL strategy across domestic and international networks Lead carrier and 3PL strategy and optimization, including sourcing, performance management, and network design Support and influence contract negotiations with major parcel carriers and FSL vendors, including pricing structures and accessorials Drive cost optimization initiatives across carrier mix, routing, FSL footprint, and overall network design Design scalable processes and operating models to support transportation and FSL growth Leverage data and analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across transportation and FSL operations Ensure alignment with global transportation regulations, including customs and hazmat (IATA/DG), and FSL compliance requirements Partner cross-functionally to align transportation and FSL strategy with broader business priorities Lead initiatives that improve delivery performance, visibility, and operational efficiency across transportation and FSL Build Annual Operating Plan for all 3 programs to submit to finance and leaders as well as process subsequent updates to the plan throughout the year Build financial models for frequent “What if” requests due to new or changing business Managed FSL operation’s direct lease locations, including acquisition, management, maintenance and payments Lead our training and development and internal facility management team What We’re Looking For 7+ years in transportation, logistics, or supply chain with global transportation strategy experience Experience with parcel carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL) and international shipping Understanding of parcel pricing, contracts, and accessorials Knowledge of global transportation regulations and compliance Experience with FSL, field operations, or distributed inventory networks Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives Strong analytical and financial skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with global transportation and FSL network design Background in transportation systems, visibility tools, or automation Experience in high-volume logistics or service networks Experience working with Legal, Finance, and Procurement on contracts and compliance Why Join Asurion Opportunity to shape and scale a global transportation and FSL network High-visibility role impacting cost, service, and customer experience Work on complex logistics and field network challenges Collaborative, cross-functional environment What Success Looks Like Improved cost efficiency across transportation and FSL network Scalable processes supporting growth and new programs Optimized carrier and FSL vendor partnerships Data-driven decision-making Alignment with broader business goals Asurion is an equal opportunity employer.
