The Regional Team Lead is responsible for managing the Trust platform for clients within their region of the Private Bank at J.P. Morgan. The successful candidate will build and sustain partnerships across the Private Bank to deliver a differentiated client experience, deepen existing relationships and partner on new fiduciary opportunities.The Regional Trust Team Leader for the NYC markets will be responsible for overseeing a senior team of trust professionals managing approximately $19B in assets. The responsibilities of this role are as follows:Talent ManagementTrust Regional Team Leaders are responsible for overseeing a team of Trust Officers, Trust Administrators and Trust Professionals who manage client relationships where we serve as a trustee or agent for trustee. The role requires technical expertise in the trusts and estates space, management expertise and a track record of success in growing and managing an UHNW client-focused business. Client Relationship ManagementThe most successful organizations provide unparalleled service and capabilities to their existing clients. The Regional Trust Team Lead works with the Trust Officers and market partners to ensure that Trust Officers are deepening existing client relationships and providing the best client experience possible. The Regional Trust Team Lead will actively partner with Private Bank advisors to coordinate client strategy and participate in key client engagements.Risk ManagementCritical to this role is that the individual be able to guide Trust Officers on questions concerning fiduciary matters as they arise and ensuring that the trust teams meet regular metrics around account reviews and maintenance. The Regional Team Leader will also be responsible for approving discretionary actions taken by the firm as a fiduciary. Sales ManagementGrowing the fiduciary business is a primary emphasis within the firm, and the Reginal Trust Team Leader works closely with Trust Officers and partners in the markets to articulate J.P. Morgan’s value proposition as a leader in this space. This includes working on regular and ongoing sales management initiatives, and making sure Trust Officers are pursuing all appropriate growth opportunities. The Regional Trust Team Lead will partner with Private Bank teams to drive a consistent opportunity pipeline and expand the footprint of fiduciary solutions across the region.New Business Review and ApprovalOversee business acceptance and administration of all regional fiduciary business.
