The operator is responsible for interpreting blueprints, setting up equipment, and making precise adjustments to produce high-quality finished parts.Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to maintaining product integrity, equipment performance, and workplace safety. This role is key to delivering consistent, accurate metal fabrications on schedule.Schedule2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AMMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience operating press brake machinery or similar metal fabrication equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsBasic math skills for measurements and bend calculationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety standardsPreferred QualificationsCertification in press brake operation or metal fabricationExperience in a manufacturing or shift-based production environmentFamiliarity with CNC press brake programming and operationKnowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practicesAbility to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal partsInterpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedulesPerform routine maintenance and inspections on equipmentMonitor product quality and make adjustments as neededCollaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goalsEnsure compliance with all safety protocols and proceduresSkillsThe ability to interpret blueprints and accurately set up press brake machinery is essential for producing precision-formed metal components.
