Inventory & Fulfillment Coordinator

The Inventory & Fulfillment Coordinator is the backbone of our operations, ensuring that every order is picked, packed, and shipped with accuracy and intention, and that our inventory and stockroom run like clockwork. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role for someone who finds satisfaction in organized shelves, clean systems, and a job done right. You'll touch nearly every product we sell, work closely with our small team, and directly shape the customer's first impression of Anchal.

Responsibilities

Fulfillment, Shipping & Returns

• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders with extreme care and accuracy—including building boxes, ironing products, packing, and writing personal thank-you notes to our customers.
• Manage wholesale orders from start to finish.
• Process dropship orders.
• Place local pick-up orders in their designated areas.
• Monitor and resolve package tracking and delivery issues.
• Process all returns, exchanges, and store credit requests in-app, including physical inspection of items upon arrival, and communicate with customers throughout.
• Track damaged and returned products in a log and add eligible items to sale.

Inventory

• Track and maintain accurate inventory levels across the Shopify platform and stockroom shelves.
• Create vintage CSV files with product titles and SKUs for incoming purchase orders.
• Lead PO shipment preparation, including Shopify incoming POs, vintage CSVs, and barcode printing.
• Shelve and organize all inventory once processed, including making space for incoming products.
• Keep the stockroom neat, clean, and organized at all times.
• Track and list SALE items in Shopify with photo, price, and SKU.
• Assist with ironing products for photography prep on a weekly rotating basis with the team.
• Manage all office and fulfillment supplies—tracking levels, monitoring rate of use, and placing orders.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels for Anchal's retail storefront on a daily/weekly basis.
• Lead and maintain store fixtures and props in storage spaces.
• Continuously improve systems and protocols to increase efficiency and organization.

Reporting

• Produce quarterly inventory stock reports based on physical counts and a Shopify quantity audit, including vintage product.
• Produce quarterly shipping and returns reports.

Other

• Support retail staffing during occasional Anchal events.
• Pack products and merchandise displays for events as needed.
• Maintain studio cleanliness.

What We're Looking For

• Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine pride in accuracy and organization.
• Comfort with hands-on, physical work, including lifting, ironing, packing, and standing for extended periods.
• Experience with retail, inventory management or e-commerce fulfillment is a strong plus.
• Comfort working with spreadsheets/CSVs and learning new tools and apps quickly.
• Strong written communication and a customer-first mindset.
• A self-starter who can manage recurring tasks independently and spot opportunities to improve systems.
• Availability to work occasional Anchal hosted events.
• Alignment with Anchal's mission and values around ethical, sustainable, women-led craft.
