Application Developer - Officer

Role Overview We are looking for an Officer position reporting directly to the VP. The role spans multiple phases across the SDLC spectrum including configuration, integration, migration, deployment, and support delivery for our Payments platform. Responsibilities Lead Agile development as Scrum Master, fostering continuous improvement. Develop and maintain payment system solutions across various types such as Payments Initiation, Domestic Fund Transfer, CHAPS, Cross‑Border Payments/SWIFT, Instant or Faster Payments, RTGS, FEDWIRES, and ISO20022 messaging. Coordinate with other Scrum teams to ensure seamless integration of functional workflows. Manage JIRA and reporting, track progress, and deliver status updates. Provide technical support, troubleshoot data issues, and work with business and client users to resolve problems. Test software and document quality and agile best‑practice procedures. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. 5+ years of development experience in a payments environment. Hands‑on experience with the Dragonfly and UPF Payments platform. Experience with public cloud environments. Knowledge of Unix/Linux/Windows Server and programming in Java and SQL. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, multitask, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Employment Details Location: Quincy, MA. Expected to work in the office 4 days a week. Salary Range: $70,000 – $118,750 annually (location based). Benefits 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match.
