We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture.Summary The Packaging Mechanic diagnoses packaging equipment problems, repairs minor and major breakdown of high-speed packaging equipment, sets up and installs all packaging equipment, performs preventative maintenance items, improves line efficiencies, and ensures all equipment is in safe working condition.Key Responsibilities Typical Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Relevant Experience 3+ years related experience and/or training Required Certifications Other Information Good knowledge of Computer Systems. Experience with troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic Systems. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to balance multiple tasks, be flexible and work well under pressure. Ability to work in refrigerated and frozen environments. Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment.
