Job Description:

The OR RN is responsible for the observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for all patients in the acute OR setting.

Responsibilities:

• Observation, assessment, and evaluation of patient care.
• Perform knee and hip replacement, ENT, ortho, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery procedures.
• Must be able to scrub and serve as a circulator, knowledgeable in all service lines.
• On-call is required for 1-2 shifts during the week and 1 weekend shift per 4-week period. Rotating weekends are possible.

Requirements:

• ACLS, BLS certifications.
• 2 years of current experience in an acute OR setting.
• Experience in ortho, spine, joint replacement, knee, and hip replacement.
• Proficient charting, multi-tasking, critical thinking, and excellent bedside manner.
