As a full-cycle Technical Recruiter, you will partner closely with our Recruiting Lead, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to build robust pipelines of technical talent aligned with our mission and values. This role requires high ownership, comfort with a wide range of tasks, and enthusiasm for a small, fast-moving environment.In this role, you will recruit across a variety of technical and business-critical functions, ranging from software and hardware engineering to manufacturing, operations, and G&A. You will gain broad exposure to different teams while building deep expertise in hiring for complex technical skill sets. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience recruiting for engineering roles, ideally within defense or other highly regulated technical industries.If you are passionate about finding top-tier talent and contributing to impactful, mission-driven work, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:Collaborate with our Recruiting Lead and hiring managers to thoroughly understand the requirements, team dynamics, and organizational goals for each roleOwn the full-cycle recruiting process for candidates from initial screening to offerDevelop and implement creative strategies to build talent pipelines, leveraging tactical research, referrals, networking events, and sourcing campaignsPartner with Recruiting Coordinators, Recruiters and Operations team members to ensure seamless and efficient operational workflowsMaintain and analyze pipeline metrics, providing regular updates and insights to internal stakeholdersDeeply understand each team's product, roadmap, and culture to effectively position rolesBuild expertise in critical skills, target companies, and industry trends to guide recruiting strategies and inform hiring decisionsUtilize data and analytics to influence hiring strategies, ensure data integrity, and track progress toward recruitment goalsRun point on external recruiting agencies being utilized for niche positions within the org you're supportingDeliver an outstanding, proactive candidate experience throughout the processWork 3-4 days onsite out of our office in Los Angeles (El Segundo), CaliforniaMinimum Requirements:5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience focused on technical and or engineering rolesProven track record of closing candidates for complex or hard-to-fill technical positionsExperience partnering closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders on role scoping, pipeline strategy, and candidate evaluationStrong understanding of engineering roles and technical skill sets such as software, hardware, systems, or manufacturingAbility to manage multiple searches and candidate pipelines simultaneously with strong attention to detailClear and effective communicator with the ability to assess candidate motivations, alignment, and fitData-driven mindset with experience tracking and improving recruiting metricsHigh ownership, adaptability, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environmentFamiliarity with ATS systems (Greenhouse preferred), sourcing tools, and structured interview practicesPreferred Requirements:Experience recruiting within the defense industry or similarly-regulated technical environments such as aerospace, government, or advanced manufacturingBackground supporting early-stage or high-growth companiesExperience with the following tools: Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Pave, AsanaAbility to operate independently while maintaining strong collaboration with cross-functional partnersResilient and creative problem-solver who can adapt quickly to changing hiring needsStrong communication style that is direct, timely, and collaborativeHigh ownership mindset with a willingness to improve processes and contribute beyond defined responsibilitiesWhy CHAOS?Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision benefits 100% paid for by the companyAdditional benefits: 401k (+ 50% company match up to 6% of pay), FSA, HSA, life insurance, and moreOur Perks: Free daily lunch, fully-stocked kitchen, unlimited PTO, casual dress codeCompensation Components: Competitive base salaries, generous pre-IPO stock option grants, relocation assistance, and (coming soon!) annual bonusesTeam Growth: 450+ employees and counting across 5 global officesSalary Range: $120,000 - $150,000The stated compensation range reflects only the targeted base compensation range and excludes additional earnings such as bonus, equity, and benefits.
