URGENT Full time - Refrigeration Container Technician - Seattle WA. Shift timings : 8 AM to 5 PM - Monday to Friday - Day shift only - over time available. Pay - $2 to $35 hourly (experience based), OT available as per state rules + benefits as below?? Retirement plans?? Health & life insurance?? Stability with a leading employee
Day To Day
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip inspections and diagnostics on refrigerated containers to ensure they are mission-ready.
- Execute complex mechanical and electrical repairs on refrigeration units and portable Gensets to maintain peak operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with logistics and shipping teams to prioritize repairs and meet critical container readiness deadlines.
- Maintain precise documentation of all inspections, maintenance actions, and inventory used to ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
Must Haves
- Proven technical experience diagnosing and repairing Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration systems and Gensets.
- Active EPA Certification and a valid driver's license.
- Strong proficiency in troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical components within an industrial or shipping context.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and the willingness to obtain a Forklift Certification.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and a drug screen (strictly adhering to FRA cannabis-free regulations).
