Position Overview The Post‑Production Manager supports all Film & Media Studies courses that include video, sound, animation, and/or other time‑based components. The manager collaborates with faculty, staff, and students to carry out curricular goals, including planning, equipment maintenance, and digital media support. Responsibilities also include maintaining analogue film suites, animation labs, and editing suites, and working with the Technical Director to develop and deliver workshops and learning modules that advance course needs and support student projects. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or equivalent combination of education and experience in Electronic Media, Film, Graphic Design, Studio Art, or related fields. Experience working in education at K‑12, higher‑ed, or community settings. Familiarity with Mac hardware and Adobe CreativeSuite (Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate, AfterEffects, InDesign, Audition). Knowledge of 16mm filmmaking, flatbed scanners, and digital workflow. Experience with equipment inventory, troubleshooting hardware and software, and maintaining analogue and digital production spaces. Creative problem‑solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information to non‑technical users under pressure. Experience facilitating technical workshops and/or teaching production methods. Preferred Qualifications MFA degree in a related field. Experience as an artist, filmmaker, designer, or interdisciplinary practitioner. Basic knowledge of data wrangling, visualization, Rhino, AutoDesk, AutoCAD, Revit, coding, and physical computing (e.g., Raspberry Pi, Arduino) is a plus.
