Radiology Technician

Role Overview: Performs a variety of radiographic procedures applying ionizing radiation, ensuring quality imaging for diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities: Assists with complex procedures such as ERCPs, fluoroscopies, OR procedures, lumbar punctures, bronchoscopies, and trauma cases. Ensures equipment troubleshooting, obtains nursing assessments, and documents images accurately in PACS or EPIC. Responds to emergency situations, promotes patient safety, and maintains smooth workflow. Communicates delays to patients and families. Operates PACS and manages charges post-procedure. Strives for high patient satisfaction and adheres to organizational standards. Qualifications & Skills: Certified in radiology (ARRT, SCRQSA, CPR), proficient in computer systems, teamwork, and customer service skills. No experience required, with accredited training preferred. Additional Info: Non-management role reporting to supervisors, with responsibilities including quality checks, documentation, and supporting departmental operations.
