McDonald’s Shift Leader Job DescriptionCompany: KTL Restaurants LLC | Haynie Holdings LLCPosition: Shift LeaderReports To: General Manager / 1st Assistant ManagerJob Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Hour can be from (18-45)Job Summary:As a Shift Leader, you are responsible for supporting the restaurant’s management team in leading operations during assigned shifts. You will coach crew, delegate tasks, drive performance, and ensure every shift meets McDonald’s standards for service, cleanliness, and food quality. You set the tone for the team and act as the go-to person when the manager is not on site.Key Responsibilities:Must be at least 18 years of ageSupervise and coach crew during shifts to deliver exceptional guest serviceLead by example to ensure all food is prepared safely and to quality standardsManage shift operations including labor, product levels, and equipment functionCommunicate effectively with team and managers to ensure smooth shift transitionsMonitor cleanliness, customer service, speed of service, and food safetyHandle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely mannerComplete shift documentation and cash handling procedures accuratelyEnsure crew follow policies, procedures, and McDonald’s standards at all timesMotivate and recognize team performance to improve retention and moraleSupport training and onboarding of new crew membersQualifications:Must be 18 years or older (due to job responsibilities and labor law compliance)Prior restaurant or leadership experience preferred, but not requiredExcellent communication and decision-making skillsAbility to multitask in a high-paced environmentStrong sense of urgency and accountabilityWillingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidaysWorkplace Violence Policy:KTL Restaurants LLC, Haynie Holdings LLC, and Haynie Management uphold a strict zero-tolerance policy toward workplace violence.
