About the Position

Job Title: Outpatient Orthopedic/Sports Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Physical Therapy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 (08:15 - 17:15) Experience: Minimum of 6 months experience outside of clinicals required License: Pending license accepted, must apply ASAP Certifications: Basic Life Support preferred, not required Must-Have: Strong orthopedic/sports clinical experience or at least 1 contract (13 weeks) in an outpatient orthopedic/sports setting Description: We are seeking an independent clinician for outpatient orthopedic/sports physical therapy. The role involves one-on-one patient sessions lasting 45 minutes. There will be no double booking or overlapping of patients. The facility offers private patient rooms and three separate gym areas. The work schedule is Monday from 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM, Tuesday through Thursday from 8:15 AM to 5 PM, and Friday from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM. There will be a 30-minute lunch every day, with charting time built into the daily schedule. Charting is done using a prompt electronic medical record system. New graduates are welcomed, provided they have strong orthopedic/sports clinical experience. The patient demographic includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily patient ratio is 1:1. Experience with a variety of physical therapy techniques and modalities is required.
