Description

The Valet Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service while parking and retrieving customer vehicles in a safe and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Park and retrieve customers' vehicles in a safe and timely manner
• Assist customers and their passengers in and out of their vehicles, including helping them with their luggage and personal items
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with both customers and employees
• Provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner
• Welcome and acknowledge all customers according to company standards; anticipate and address customers' needs and thank customers with a genuine appreciation.
• Control traffic to ensure a smooth flow at all times, while ensuring pedestrians are safe
• Maintain security of vehicles and vehicle keys
• Verify the necessary supplies at the start of each shift
• Maintain a neat and orderly valet stand at all times that is free of debris and trash
• Complete the necessary end of shift documentation and transfer vehicle keys and supporting tickets to the next shift's employee
• Monitor and maintain safety, security and cleanliness of parking areas
• Arrive in complete uniform before and during scheduled shifts
• Must work with or without supervision
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
• May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Schedule

Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Current California Driver License
• Valid/Acceptable Driving Record
  • No more than 2 pts within the last 3 yrs.
  • No more than 1 at fault accident with the last 5 yrs.
• Ability to drive vehicles both Manual and Automatic
• Take an Integrity Survey
• Willing to take a Fitness for Duties Test (Medical/Drug Screen)
• Willingness to undergo a Background Check
• Standing/Walking for long periods of time.
• Lifting, Pushing, and Pulling up to 25 lbs.
• Bending/Squatting frequently.
