Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry care to join our Resource Pool team. This position offers the opportunity to provide essential nursing services in diverse settings, enhancing your clinical skills while adapting to the dynamic needs of various units.

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse will be allocated primarily within the Resource Pool, with the flexibility to float between multiple locations as needed. This role requires a commitment to patient care, teamwork, and adaptability in fast-paced environments. The RN will know their schedule in advance and will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to all patients.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting.
Monitor and assess patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Participate in patient and family education regarding care plans and health management.
Float to other units as necessary to meet facility needs.

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license with a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in MS/Tele.
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale.
Ability to pass arrhythmia and medication testing on the first day of employment.
Possess strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Work Schedule

This role is primarily for night shifts (3x12-hour shifts), with the possibility of working 48-hour shifts. Flexibility to cover weekends and holidays is required, with specific holiday coverage expectations outlined in the hiring details.

Additional Information

Guaranteed hours based on the signed contract.
All required time off (RTO) must be submitted during the initial application process.
Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility.
