Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical and regulated environments industry, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence and safety standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Facilities Technician / Maintenance Mechanic Location: Apex, NC Pay Range: $30-32/hr. Contract to Hire What's the Job? Coordinate and perform preventative and corrective maintenance of facility equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation. Support operations in compliance with safety policies, GMP standards, and site procedures. Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, equipment logs, and CMMS records. Support fire life safety systems and participate in shutdowns, emergency repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives. What's Needed? High School Diploma or GED required. 5+ years of industrial or commercial maintenance experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or regulated environments. Strong knowledge of fire life safety equipment. Experience using CMMS systems for work order management and documentation.
