Accounts Payable Manager

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable leader looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing organization? We are partnering with a well-established company in the transportation and supply chain sector seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead a high-volume AP operation and a team of 8-9 professionals. What You'll Do Lead all aspects of the accounts payable function across multiple domestic and international entities. Manage and develop a team of AP professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management. Ensure timely and accurate processing of high-volume invoices, payments, vendor maintenance, and disbursements. Maintain and strengthen internal controls, audit compliance, and accounting policy adherence. Partner with Accounting, Treasury, Procurement, and Operations teams to support cash flow management and vendor relationships. Oversee month-end and year-end AP close activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and reporting. Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and workflow efficiencies. Support ERP and financial system enhancements while developing key performance metrics for the department. What We're Looking For 7+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume, multi-entity environment 3+ years of leadership or management experience Experience supervising teams of 8+ employees Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and AP best practices Experience with ERP systems and AP automation platforms Workday experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Fully bilingual in English and Spanish Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Why Consider This Opportunity?
