This role serves as a developmental step toward supervision by supporting team performance, training associates, monitoring inventory accuracy, and assisting with operational execution. The Lead I work closely with Inventory Control Supervisors to ensure process compliance, problem resolution, and achievement of departmental goals.Key responsibilities include:Providing daily direction and support to Inventory Control associates and Material Handlers.Coordinating workflow and prioritizing tasks to meet operational requirements.Supporting inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, investigations, and corrective actions.Training, coaching, and mentoring team members.Monitoring compliance with inventory procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.Assisting with troubleshooting inventory discrepancies and operational issues.Supporting material flow activities and cross-functional coordination.Tracking performance metrics and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse operations.Experience using ERP systems such as SAP and inventory management tools.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to coach and influence others without direct supervisory authority.Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet operational deadlines.Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.BE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
